Dominique Baker is 30, single and tired of her high school teacher, Sister Thomasina, sitting on her shoulder tweaking her conscience every time she thinks about having an adventure. At the urging of her dearest, and most decidedly ultra-social, friend Mae Mai, Dominique is determined to throw caution to the wind. Dressed to the nines, she arrives at the local pub sure that she is destined to meet the man who is going to change her life and banish Sister Thomasina once and for all.
T.J. Wilde, cool, confident and single-minded, knows exactly who he’s looking for a dark haired woman with a killer body who is going to deliver a piece of vital evidence that will get an innocent man out of prison. When Dominique Baker walks through the door clutching her purse like it holds the Jewel of the Nile, T.J. would bet his life that this is his woman. Little does he know how high the stakes of that bet are. Once they make contact it isn’t his life that will soon hang in the balance – it is hers.

This was a terrible story. I didn't even want to finish it but I was curious if he ever told her what he did to her. I should have stopped, it only got worse. In looking at other reviews I thought it would be cute, instead it was disturbing that anyone would think it was cute. The guy in the story can't stand the woman talking when she is upset and gives her animal tranquilizers to shut her up. Yes, thats love alright. Never does tell her she was drugged and she never figures it out even though she immediately passed out while walking to the car. Then later to keep her from following, he leaves her tied naked to a bed. Sorry, not cute but sick criminal behavior in both cases. The woman on the other hand is depicted as stupid. She can't even figure out the lock on the hotel door!! Waste of my time. Made me appreciate other authors I have recently read who maybe weren't the best but didn't insult women by making them look like idiots. This is the first book I have read by this author. I won't read another by her.Product details

Wilde Gamble romantic suspense edition by Rebecca Forster Romance eBooks Reviews
Action from beginning to end. T.J. Wilde brings out sexy and sweetness in this one. Dominque and Mae are sassy and quick thinking. Love it.
The version was full of typos. I loved the witness series by this author. It's hard to believe this book was written by the same person. It was a typical, waste-of-time "romance".
Good read, this is one of my favorite authors because her books are well written and keep you turning the page for the next twist. I have read 14 of her books and not disappointed by any.
I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more of Ms. Forster's work. This was an intriguing mystery laced with enjoyable humor.
When life gets to be too much, I need a book I can lose myself in, have a few laughs and feel the stress of life melting away. This book should come with a cup of hot chocolate and few cookies; it would then be a total escape package. I was hooked within the first few pages when the main character tried to use vibrating mascara, and "squealed when the wand took on a life of its own and attacked her." After laughing, I knew this book was just what I needed.
The characters were delightful; there was a hot stud muffin, a sweet girl who just happens to get kidnapped, and a funny, spunky, ass kickin' friend who keeps life lively and upbeat. Oh, and let's not forget Gay, whom is special in her own way. I love her, and would love to see her in her own book sometime.
This book was like a mini vacation for me, I hope there are more books like this by Rebecca Forster to come and soon! )
Wilde's Gamble is a wonderful romantic comedy with engaging characters, witty dialogue and enough tension to keep you flipping pages late into the night. My favorite scene is when Dominique, an accounts payable clerk trying to spice up her dull existence, first meets T.J. Wilde, a cool, good-looking guy with a past. The interplay between them as they repeatedly misunderstand each other, is fun, sexy and hilarious. It sets the tone for their subsequent adventure and the development of their relationship. Rebecca Forster hits the mark again with her vivid descriptions and fully developed characters; especially a couple of side-kicks who will keep you smiling all the way to the last page. This is a great book to curl up by the fireplace and lose yourself in the romance and the fun. It is also crying out to be made into a movie and I'd be the first in line at the box office.
Quit reading.
Lead female is 30, gorgeous but doesn't know it. She has been twisted by the Church and is still haunted by a particularly vicious Nun.
The scene where the lead male spikes her water with doggie downers made me decide to quit reading this story.
I did not find the dialogue to be informative or entertaining.
No desire to finish this story.
Remember this is my personal opinion and does not reflect on the author.
